15b)The next most logical value to use for mass of purchase is 400, because it goes up by 100 everytime, and you already know the pattern.

Russell's Scribe Post
In class, we learned about dividing fractions. I will recap the things we did when dividing fractions.
No negatives, so the product is positive.
There are 4 groups of 3 in 12.
There are 4 groups of 3 in 12.
There are 2 negatives, so the product is positive.
There are 4 groups of -3 in -12.
Dividing positive integers and negative integers are almost the same thing.

Dividing positive integers and negative integers are almost the same thing.
Another important thing we learned in class, is that you can't draw diagrams for opposite integers, like - ÷ +, opposite integers are called multiplicative inverse. It makes sense, because how can you draw a diagram of - 3 groups going into +12.
If you still don't get how I got the answer, check out this video, it might help:

Hopefully this post helped you understand how dividing integers work.

Russell's Pay It Forward
Part 1
What is "Pay it Forward". To complete this part please edit and revise the paragraphs that you wrote after watching the movie. Pay it forward is a term which was used in the movie "Pay it Forward" meaning helping 3 people, and telling them to pay it forward, then they help 3 more people and tell them to pay it forward, then etc.
Part 2
What was your Pay It Forward act of kindness?
I donated some unused toys in my house to Salvation Army.
Why did you choose this activity?
I chose this activity because some kids have no form of entertainment, and I think they should smile, and have fun once in a while.
Who did you help?
I helped kids who can't afford toys, or are in poverty.
What did you do?
I donated toys to salvation army.
When did you do you act of kindness?
December 3, 2012 6:30 PM
Part 3
How did your act of kindness go?
It went pretty well
What Happened?
I walked into the store and put the toys into a bin.
How did you feel?
I felt good knowing I was giving toys to the poor.
How did the person or people react?
No one really saw me put the toys in the bin and I didn't see anyone with a reaction.
Did you ask the person or people to "Pay It Forward"?
No, I didn't know who the manager was.
How did they react to your request?
If you did not ask the person to "Pay It Forward" how come?
I didn't see any manager, it seemed like the counter was empty.
Part 4
Why is the idea of "Pay it Forward" important?
Because if everyone does it, the whole world could change.
Has your act of kindness made a difference?
A little difference.

Russell's Fraction Scribepost

13. Three quarters of a can of apple juice fills 6
glasses. How many glasses will a whole can of apple juice fill?
>1
11. In a comedy review, each performer has a quarter of an hour slot. How many performers are there in a 2 hour show?>1

12. It takes 2 and a half scoops of flour to make one cake. How many cakes do 15 scoops of flour make?
>1
First, make the mixed fraction an improper fraction. Then, treat it like a normal fraction dividing problem.

My Test Corrections :
1. Most of my mistakes were caused because I didn't write a question down.

2. Another mistake I made was because I didn't really explain how I got the answer of 3 quarters.

Russell's Proportion post
Part 1 :
e.g.

e.g.
- Ratio : 2 or more quantities that have the same unit measurement are compared to each other.
e.g.

- Rate : 2 quantities that have different unit measurements are compared to each other.
e.g.
- Proportion : A way of saying that 2 ratios are equivalent.
e.g.
First, we have to divide the numerator by the denominator. 360 divided by 5 = 72. What we do to one side, we have to do to the other. So 5 divided by 5 = 1. Our answer is 72 km/h.

2. Emma saves 28 cents of every dollar that she earns. Emma earned $75 last week. How much money did Emma save last week?
First, we have to multiply the numerator of the first rate with the denominator of the second rate. 0.28 = 21. Now we have to find what makes 21 with 1. 1 x 21 = 21. So our answer is Emma saved 21 dollars from getting 75 dollars.

Part 3 :
3 ways are :
3 ways are :
- 1. Multiplying the numerator or the denominator from the first proportion with the opposite place of the fraction of the 2nd proportion. 1a) Find a way to make the unknown number the answer of the first part by multiplying the leftover number to make the answer.
- 2. Dividing the 1st proportion's numerator to make the denominator. Then dividing by the same amount with the 2nd proportion, coming up with the answer.
- 3. Multiplying the first proportion with a number to make the answer.
e.g.
Not at all.
2. With what you know about proportion look and read what is in the image above. Does it seem just and fair?
No. It's stupid. Why would they put the person for only 3 years, while a homeless man gets 15 years for stealing only 100.
3. Why have you made this choice?
There's a huge difference between 100 dollars and 3 billion dollars. That's like giving a year for every billion you steal. If they did, then the homeless man would only get 500 millionth of a year.
What would you have done if you were the judge?Let the homeless man do community service, it's a homeless man, what do you expect from a man trying to live without money?
I would also sentence the CEO for 30 years in prison.

How tall are the trees?
I googled the average height for an average 12 year old boy, because the person walking through the woods looks like one. The answer is 4 feet and 11 inches. It looks like the boy fits in the tree's height 3 times. So, 4 x 3 = 12, and 11 x 3 = 33. So it's 12 feet and 33 inches. Since there are 2 twelves in 33, the answer is :
14 feet and 9 inches.
