Russell's Scribe Post

In class, we learned about dividing fractions. I will recap the things we did when dividing fractions.



No negatives, so the product is positive.
There are 4 groups of 3 in 12.














There are 2 negatives, so the product is positive.
There are 4 groups of -3 in -12.










Dividing positive integers and negative integers are almost the same thing.

Another important thing we learned in class, is that you can't draw diagrams for opposite integers, like - ÷ +, opposite integers are called multiplicative inverse. It makes sense, because how can you draw a diagram of - 3 groups going into +12.
