1. This isn't fair one bit. The judge for Roy Brown's case is horrible at his job.
2.(I honestly don't need a proportion to see how messed up this is.)
This isn't just and fair at all. Proportions are supposed to show equivalency and this isn't equal one bit.
3. I've made this choice because I think their sentence is wrong. It is not fair that Roy Brown was sentenced 15 years in jail for doing what he did. 15 years is something I'd give to serial killers. He just stole $100, which he later gave back. The federal prosecutors gave horrible judgement to Paul. R Allen too. Justice was not served. I don't need to go to law school to know that.
4.If I was the judge I would sentence Roy Brown not guilty. I would probably buy the guy lunch.
About how tall is this traffic box?
Answer:
A peach is about 6 cm tall. 10 peaches are as tall as the traffic box. 6 x 10= 60 cm. The traffic box is around 60 cm tall.

My overall impression of your post is I think it is very easy to understand. You did well in using pictures as examples so I can understand more of the word. Another thing you did well is that you chose an appropriate video for the post, the video was good because it helped me understand how to solve proportions more. Lastly, I think you did well in explaining your thinking the Social Justice part, now I get why it isn't just. I think you may need to improve your post by making the font a bit bigger or make the title of the sections bigger so I know which part is being explained.
ReplyDeleteMy overall impression was that the post explained things very good and I instantly knew what you meant. My 3 stars are you did a very good job with your examples, I liked the video you posted and I like how you showed your work. My wish is that next time you should make your own video because you are very smart and I think you can do it.
ReplyDeleteI think I did the best I could on my post. I bolded important words. I created pictures to go with most of my answers and examples. I think I explained things well enough for people to understand. I should've explained why the second proportion statement wasn't true in part 3. (In my defense, I thought we were supposed to only pick one proportion, but I'm horrible at following instructions.) To make this post better, I should've made a video.
