Part 1
Ratioused to compare quantities of the same units of measure.
Ex. You have 20 cars and out of those 20 cars 15 are red, and you wanted to know the ratio of red cars to the total amount of cars. The ratio is 15:20
RateRate is a ratio that compares two quantities of different units.

The Rate at which your parents' car travels may be 55 miles per hour.

ProportionAn equation which states that two ratios are equal.
Part 2

Part 4
part 5
1. Does this seem fair?
No. I don't think this is fair.

2. With what you know about proportion look and read what is in the image above.  Does it seem just and fair?

Nope. It still isn't fair to me.

3.Why have you made this choice?

Because he was homeless and without money to take care of himself or feed himself. For the other one the sentence to jail is too far high.

4. What would you have done if you were the judge?

I would lower the jail time, for the first one I would say about 7 days because he didn't mean to hurt anybody and he turned himself in. For the second one I would lower it to about 10 years I would reduce the time if he gave some of the money back.

BONUS
Woodpile 2
