John's Scribe Post

Last Monday, we learned how to divide fractions.

There's 2 ways of doing this.
Elementary or Junior High
If you don't know how to do the Junior High, read & view this scribe post!

There was no negatives in the equation so it's a positive.
'How many times can 3 go into 12?' = 4

Now listen up, this part is important.
If 1 number is negative, it's like this :
(-12) ÷ 3 = (-4)

But if 2 numbers are negative, it's like this :
(-12) ÷ (-3) = 4

So here's the SIGN RULE.
2 negatives = positive answer
1 negative = negative answer

It doesn't have to be 1 or 2 only, odds & evens too.
1-3-5-7-9-11
2-4-6-8-10-12
